It is permissible to utilise the skin of the Qurbani Animal for one's personal use, e.g. as a Musallah or to make a pouch, etc. However, if the skin is sold, it is not permissible to use the income thereof for oneself. It is Wājib to give this money in charity. Sale of the skin without the intention of donating/ giving the money in charity, is not permitted. (Durrul Mukhtar)
It is sinful to intentionally forego the Fardh (obligatory) Salah.
Hazrat Anas (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “That is the prayer of the hypocrite: he sits watching the sun until it turns pale, then he gets up and hurriedly performs four Rakats in which he only remembers Allah a little.” (Sahih Muslim, Sunanut Tirmizi, Sunan Nasai)
A Muslim is indeed distinctive in his faith and identity. The outlook of a believer is unique and attuned to the beautiful teachings of Islam. Hence, it is not becoming of a Muslim to imitate the ways and mannerisms of others.
It is prohibited to attend the funeral service, prayer or procession of a non-Muslim. This is an explicit command of the Noble Quran.
Allah Ta'ala says in the Noble Qur'an: “O Children of Adam! We have bestowed you with clothing to cover yourselves and as an adornment, but the clothing of piety – that is the best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will become conscious. (Surah A'raaf V.26)

The 9th day of Zul Hijjah is known as Youmul Arafah (The Day of Recognition) for various reasons. It is regarded to be the best day of the year and one in which many virtues are combined.
A Muslim must be mindful of those around him and avoid causing even the slightest inconvenience to anyone. A common problem experienced in Ramadan is excessive burping in Salah, especially in Taraweeh. The odour that emanates from the mouth causes inconvenience and is offensive to other Musallees.
In Islam the heirs to a deceased estate and their respective shares have been prescribed by the Shariah. It is an act of great injustice to deprive an heir of his/her rightful share unless the reason for depriving him/her is established in the Shariah e.g. disbelief, killing of the deceased, etc.
The sudden upsurge in the new “hijabi” trend amongst Muslim females is both unfortunate and disturbing. This trend involves making a large bun in order to attract attention to oneself, sometimes using hair clips to create a big camel-like hump on the head. This is not only a deception but also a form of Tabarruj (a woman's making a wanton display of her beauty) which is contradictory to the rules of hijab and a destructive sin in the Sight of Allah.
Unduly delaying payments to a creditor has become a common practice of many people who do not regard it as wrong.
Registering one’s marriage in 'Community of Property' is NOT in conformity with the principles of Shariah and could result in the incorrect distribution of one’s assets/estate.
It is prohibited to spread messages or convey information without verifying its authenticity. (Surah Bani Israeel:36 and Surah Hujurat:6)
In Salah it is necessary to move the lips and tongue when reciting the different types of supplications, eg: Takbir Tahrimah (The Takbir to commence Salah), Qiraat, Tashahud, Salam, etc. If one does not verbally recite the necessary words by moving the lips and tongue but merely recites it in his heart, the Salah will be invalid.
Manufacturing, owning, displaying, buying and selling of sculptures or statues of animate beings (humans and animals) is prohibited in the Shariah. There is a consensus of the Jurists regarding this prohibition.
The area from the naval up to and including the knee of a man is part of his Aurah (incumbent to conceal) and accordingly it is impermissible for a man to expose this part of his body. Likewise it is impermissible for one to gaze at the exposed part of a man's body that should be concealed.
